Abu Dhabi`s twofour54 takes stake in online art market

Twofour54, Abu Dhabi`s media and home entertainment free zone, has actually taken a stake in Collectionair, an online market for art and house wallpaper design.
Collectionair was among the first start-ups released from Flat6Labs Abu Dhabi accelerator program in 2014.
Dash Ventures, an early-stage equity capital firm in Jordan, has also purchased Collectionair.
Online marketplace punishing sellers for returned items?

Sellers have whined that the marketplaces are penalizing them in case of an opened packaging and returned item.
Around 1,000 sellers have conveyed that Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal do not share logistics expenses or returning commissions in case a customer opens the package then doesn't want the item.
Rather, sellers state the marketplaces put the blame on them, saying the product they shipped was fake or malfunctioning items leading to return.
DTO develops online market for gov't IT start-ups

The federal government's Digital Transformation Office is constructing an online marketplace designed to motivate start-ups to bid for a slice of the federal government s $5 billion annual spend on IT tasks.
The task comes as part of the Turnbull government s $1.1 billion national innovation and science program, which seeks to encourage innovation through the advancement of scalable, active, high-growth tech start-ups.
